2025 Spring Soccer

This season is designed for boys and girls ages 4 to 18 in a fast-paced, small-sided format that anyone can enjoy.

New to soccer? Learn the game with simple rules in a fun, supportive environment.
Played some soccer? Enjoy more touches on the ball and be a part of more goals with 5v5.
Very experienced at soccer? Challenge yourself—practice using your non-dominant foot!

Davis AYSO’s program brings together over 100 teams from the community, offering young players a fun and supportive environment emphasizing skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Games will be on Friday evenings (first game 4/4/2025)

Divisions and Team Formation

Co-ed Schoolyard (those turning 4 by March 31, 2025) - 1 practice per week
6U (Born in 2019/2020) - 19U (Born in 2006) gendered divisions* - 1 weekday training and 1 Friday evening game per week.

*we will aim to form gendered divisions where possible. 48 registrants are needed to form each gendered division so encourage your friends to play!

Each team will practice one weekday per week for an hour usually starting sometime between 4-6pm.

For team formation: During registration, you will be asked what days do NOT work for you to practice on. Our first priority when forming teams is for all teams in the division to have roughly equal skill levels (Balanced Teams) and our second priority will be aligning practice days where possible so you get your selection. Our third priority will be forming teams within geographic areas so that training is more likely to be close by your home. Friend or practice requests are not able to be accommodated in the team formation process. Your volunteer coach will let you know when and where practices are around March 19th.

AYSO is all volunteer-run and we depend on every parent in our community contributing some time to make the season a success. Free, accredited, division-specific training is provided for all coaches and all referees and these roles are our highest needs. AYSO's mentorship and administrative team is here to help make the season as smooth as possible for coaches and referees. We can pull off an amazing fun season together! Please ensure you volunteer during registration.

Cost:

Co-ed Schoolyard $77.75 ($50 regional fee, $25 National Player Fee, $2.75 sports connect fee)
All other divisions $152.75 ($125 regional fee, $25 National Player Fee, $2.75 sports connect fee)

Returning player discount: If your player played in Fall, the $25 National Player Fee will be reduced from your registration fee!

Cost includes participant t-shirts, team equipment, and field fees.

Scholarships that fully cover the registration fee are available and easily accessible. Please continue through to the payment screen, stop without paying, and then complete this short form. Wait for instructions via email with a coupon code for the registration fee.

Refunds:

100% up to March 16h. 50% from March 17- March 31. No refunds after the season has started. The $25 national player fee or any additional associated fees, if applicable to you, are non-refundable. Refunds will be issued by May 30. Refunds can be requested here.

Equipment Requirements:

Families need to provide shoes (cleats or other closed-toe shoes), shin guards, and socks to cover shin guards. There will be a cleat/equipment exchange at the AYSO Building in Community Park, all details TBA. Stop by with shoes/equipment that don't fit and see if there is a pair that does! For local options, there are Soccer and Lifestyle, Big 5, and Target.
